OVERVIEW

TD Wealth Private Investment Advice is a full-service brokerage ideal for investors who are looking for professional, custom-tailored wealth planning and investment solutions, while maintaining participation in the decision-making process regarding their financial affairs. We work one-on-one with clients to design and implement a comprehensive investment strategy, recommend customized investment solutions and provide on-going portfolio monitoring and performance reporting aimed at enhancing the client's financial success over the long-term.

The Business Operations Support Representative will provide quality, efficient and specialized administrative support on multiple and diverse assignments. This position will provide dedicated administrative support to an Investment Advisor(s) (IA) and their team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide exceptional customer service at every interaction
Communicate with clients via phone, in-person and e-mail where required
Provide administrative support through account opening documents, transfers, cheque issuance, deposits, client reporting, tax packages etc.
Support in maintaining client files; filing, scanning documents, updating client database, etc.
Handle and prepare incoming/outgoing courier and mail
Schedule and prepare for client meetings, ie. client meeting room preparation, catering as required, greeting clients
Be able to multi-task and perform additional duties as required
Provide consistent and accurate administrative support to IA team
Be familiar and adhere to compliance requirements as outlined in the policies and procedures. This includes all aspects of new and existing account documentation and marketing materials
Be proactive in the role to improve team efficiency and organization
Demonstrate knowledge of, and comply with, all compliance regulations, securities laws, risk & confidentiality requirements and the TD Codes of Conduct & Ethics
Participate fully as a member of the team and contribute to a positive work environment

REQUIREMENTS

Possess excellent communication and organizational skills; consistently delivering a high level of client service
Detail oriented and highly accurate; ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Able to work well in a team environment and be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
The candidate will use considerable initiative to provide a high level of organization for the team
Demonstrated discretion and independent judgment when dealing with highly sensitive matters
Proficient with firm software and MS Office Suite

EDUCATION/ACCREDITATIONS

Undergraduate Degree or Community College Diploma preferred
Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) or other industry related courses would be an asset
