Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Manager, Content Strategy & Library Management drives the global coordination and commercial optimization of the studio's film and television library. This role ensures priority titles are fully enabled, strategically positioned, and optimized across all platforms and windows. The Manager will partner closely with the SVP, Content Strategy & Library Management, and act as a central point of accountability for title prioritization, franchise lifecycle planning, slate readiness, metadata accuracy, and cross-functional alignment across Sales, Research, Marketing, Operations, Production, and Legal.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key point of contact for all new content coming into the Content Strategy team with a clear understanding of rights, territory profiles and marketing campaigns to assist with go-to-market preparation.
Help create internal reference files/deal abstracts for new content opportunities.
Meet with the marketing and legal teams on a regular basis to confirm new productions in the pipeline.
Present new title opportunities to the sales team and distribute materials for further review.
Confirm all content is accurately captured in the Global Release Schedule in a timely manner.
Liaise with research to follow what's trending in the current marketplace, identifying similarly aligned content in the Lionsgate catalog for opportunistic sales.
Track strategic titles from the acquisitions team including renewals and buyouts.
Partner with Rights Management to confirm data accuracy in avails platform.
Manage library content by identifying key opportunities for sales based on drafting, anniversaries, seasonality, data and research.
Identify priority titles for renewal conversations, aligning with sales strategy, performance trends, and corporate objectives.
Identify catalog titles for key art refresh or higher resolution upgrades.
Track and communicate contractual obligations to sales teams, including adding notes to avails platform if needed.
Support the Global Content Strategy & Planning team on key and/or ad-hoc projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

5+ years of experience in television or film distribution, sales, content strategy, sales planning, library management, or related fields.
General understanding of global television markets, rights structures, windowing strategies, and platform dynamics (Linear, SVOD, AVOD, FAST, Digital).
Must possess the ability to effectively multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced/dynamic environment.
Highly motivated with an aptitude to learn quickly, take accountability for tasks, and proactively anticipate needs.
Proven ability to work with large cross-functional teams and organizations.
Excellent organization, note taking, and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy, quality, and timeliness.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires five (5) days per week in office.

COMPENSATION

$80,000 - $90,000
