Position Summary

We are seeking Lead Electrical / Power Electronics to join our team in developing next-generation Advanced Energy products for the Semiconductor and Industrial temperature measurement and control industries. This role is focused on system architecture, platform strategy, and complex problem solving across multiple products.

As a Lead Engineer, you will operate with broad autonomy and influence.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

Lead the design and test of analog circuitry for photodetectors, SCR power controllers/ and Pyrometers.
Participate in design conceptualization, schematic generation, mechanical packaging and PCB layout of project assigned
Establish best practices and design standards for power electronics and high-voltage systems across product lines
Conduct circuit breadboarding/fine tuning, power-up, test and verify specs compliance
Perform Design Verification Test (DVT) to the project assigned and all necessary circuit simulation and tolerance analysis on project assigned
Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) with emphasis on component cost and quality.
Perform Failure Analysis on products
Provide deep technical expertise in root-cause analysis of complex electrical, control, and reliability issues
Create accurate, error-free test reports and controlled documents

Product & System Ownership

Provide technical oversight for multiple products or platforms from concept through production and field deployment
Partner with product management, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure scalable and manufacturable designs
Lead technical risk assessment and ensure compliance with applicable safety, EMC, and regulatory standards
Cross-Functional & External Engagement
Act as a senior technical interface with key customers, suppliers, and partners on system-level challenges
Influence technology roadmaps and long-term platform strategies in collaboration with engineering leadership

Mentorship & Influence

Mentor senior and junior engineers, raising the technical bar across the organization
Lead design and architecture reviews, providing clear technical direction without direct people management

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering
8+ years relevant work experience in the following:
Power Electronics and Photodetectors
Sensor Technology
Fiber Optic Technology
Using Simulations Tools in product development
Research & Development
Knowledgeable in Circuit operation and failure analysis
Very good communication skills
Team player
